CATECHISM
”Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6)
The catechism ensures that our children grow up in the divine plan of the creator fulfilling the expectations of their families, community, church and society. To enhance the understanding of children about our traditional services and the meaning of prayers, readings and homily of Holy Qurbana, the basic medium of teaching is chosen to be Malayalam with full explanations in English. Since its inception in 2009 our catechism classes have gained popularity among parents wishing to educate their children in rich traditional, religious and cultural values.
Medium: Malayalam and English translation (books available in both languages)
Curriculum: Syro Malabar syllabus approved by The Synodal Commission for Catechesis of Syro Malabar Church.
Other Activities : Summer Camp in May / June every year with a range of activities such as games, art & craft, bible quiz, religious plays and above all religious teaching sessions by priests. We have a mobile library in which saints religious books are rotated to be read by students.
