On the 19th of October 2018, the Diocese of Hosur conducted the Catechism Arts Festival for all the churches under the Diocese. The stage was set at the Christ the King School campus Poonamallee. The inauguration of the fest was with lighting of the lamp which opened up different level competition among the catechism children’s.

An opportunity for the children’s to nurture the God-given talents and to use them for God’s purposes. The mission is to promote the study, exploration and appreciation of the contemporary and traditional performing and visual arts based on the Christian values, beliefs and tradition.

It was an festive mood at the school, Backstage parents, teachers, parish priest/sisters preparing and giving motivation to their parish children’s for the competition was a good site of bonding.

Our Parish Church entered in Solo Song, Solo Dance, Classical Dance, Group Dance etc, our children have the best talent to showcase to the world.

– Solo Song (Boys) Junior Level – Emil George Subish got the third place in the competition.
– Classical Dance (Girls) Junior Level – Irene Maria Bobby got second place in the competition.
– Classical Dance (Girls) Senior Level – Catherine Anna Christy got second place in the competition.
